Mike in a Snapshot
Michael Collins is an analytical leader who helps his teams be successful with any goal that they may set. He has been exceptional in his multiple new product launches - as they tend to be highly stressful with senior management visibility and outrageously complex technology outsourcing environments. Luckily, these are all areas that Mike thrives in! As a program manager, his greatest success has come from placing new financial products into the marketplace that help consumers save for their future. "There is no better joy knowing that I have helped my family and my community prepare for their goals of life whether it is saving for a child's education or an import purchase in their life".

Michael has been dedicated to technology since a very early age - like growing up in Vermont and dialing into a party line modem to check his AOL email! He is hands on with system integrations while being a program manager. Previously, he spent a couple of years contract focused as a Senior consultant gaining broader experience in the energy and insurance industries. He also served as a Director of Project Management at Fidelity Investments, where he had worked to successfully lead and manage a team of senior project managers and analysts. As a CSM, he has coached and lead multiple SCRUM teams - recently focused on initiatives to involve and capture young investors while also implementing new software and technology. He took a brief break from the firm, during which he held the position of Assistant Vice President of the Project Management Office (PMO) for Natixis Global Asset Management in Boston, Massachusetts, specializing in Information Technology Governance Implementation and Management. With the development of the Project Management Office within the organization, Michael's leadership, direction, and strategy have contributed to the successful expansion of the department. Through developing the QA strategy for the IT organization and driving sales efficiencies with numerous technology initiatives, Michael continues to prove the PMO's extreme value to the organization. Prior to joining Natixis Global Asset Management, Michael held the position of Senior Project and Release Manager, among other leadership roles, at Fidelity Investments in Smithfield, Rhode Island for the past fifteen years. In this capacity, he managed the implementation of a large Wall Street initiative to support the new Option Symbology for Fidelity. Michael has a CIS Masters degree from Boston University focused in Information Security and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Bryant University focusing on Computer Information Systems. Michael is an avid gardener, rock climber, and skier.
